My favorite sound was always the sound of my dad laughing. When he died, my favorite sound died along with him.
When I met HIM I found a new favorite sound. The sound of HIM laughing. His laugh is cute, funny, infectious and it sums him up so nicely.
Now, however, I feel like I’m grieving all over again. He hasn’t died, but, in a way, I feel as though he has.
Why? Because I haven’t heard his laughter in too long.
I cried tears of joy the last time I heard him laugh.
Now, I want to cry tears of sadness, because I haven’t heard my favorite sound in too long.
